Roy's Return in the NHL?

Patrick Roy has been at the center of rumors ever since he left the Colorado Avalanche in 2016.
It seems that every year a new team could be interested in him, but he chooses to stay with the Quebec Remparts in the QMJHL.
But now, a return in the NHL seems closer than ever after he won the Memorial Cup.

Patrick Roy Owns His Mistakes

Roy is known to be quite a hothead during games. He often screams at players or coaches. That's his style; this is how he is, and he has to own it to consider coming back to the NHL, which he does.
"It's hard for me to get a job because of the way I left Colorado. I know I made some bad choices. I know the way I left, everything I did, could have an effect on today's perspective on myself. I have to live with that. I know that I've learned from my mistakes. The past is the past, but sometimes you have to live with your past. I understand the situation."

At the time, he didn't get along so well with Joe Sakic, who was the Executive Vice-President and General Manager of the Avs. A major gap in their visions for the team's future drove Roy out of the NHL. He understands why now.
"I understand now, better than ever, that you can't be in management and coach a team at the same time. If you're the coach, you coach. If you're the GM, that's what you do."

Roy, 57 years old, is more mature than before, and his experience could make him a good coach in the NHL if a team hires him.
Now that he owns his past mistakes, do you think Roy will be back in the NHL?
