Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk has broken one of the unwritten rules of hockey by laying a dirty hit after the whistle.
Tkachuk Hits Heiskanen After The Whistle
Last night in a heated game against the Dallas Stars, Senators captain Brady Tkachuk let his frustrations boil over. After an offsides whistle was blown, Tkachuk went after Miro Heiskanen and absolutely obliterated him.

The Stars were quick to respond by going after Tkachuk making sure that he would not do something like this again.
Stars And Heiskanen Get The Last Laugh
Despite this dirty play on Heiskanen, the Stars were able to defeat the Senators 5-4. Tkachuk was held to only one assist while Heiskanen scored the game-tying goal in the third period.
Less than a minute after Heiskanen's goal, forward Matt Duchene netted the go-ahead goal and eventual game-winner.
The Stars moved to 17-8-3 on the season while the Senators fell to 11-14 which is good for last in the Atlantic division and 4th to last in the NHL.
