The new price to acquire Flames Noah Hanifin has been revealed
A few weeks ago, it was reported that the Calgary Flames placed one of their top defensemen on the trade market with a price tag of a first round draft pick.
Now, their price reportedly went up.
Calgary Flames Raise the Price of Noah Hanifin on the Trade Market
With less than ten days before the deadline, the Calgary Flames are definitely a team to follow. They have many top assets available on the trade market, including defenseman Noah Hanifin.
According to a new report, the Flames are reportedly asking for a top prospect and a player alongside a first round pick.
Per Eric Francis:
"Noah Hanifin could fetch the Flames a first-round pick, a top prospect and a roster player."
Can the Maple Leafs Affort Hanifin at the Flames New Price?
The Flames additions to the price doesn't really change anything for the Leafs. They have a few prospects and players that could interest Calgary, such as Nick Robertson and Calle Jarnkrok.
The remaining question involves the first round pick. The Leafs already part ways with their 2025 first round pick, meaning that they would need to give up their 2024 pick for Hanifin.
While many fans would love to see the Flames' star defenseman traded to the Maple Leafs, the cost could push them out of the Hanifin derby.
Do you think Hanifin will be traded to the Maple Leafs?
