BREAKING: Jake Guentzel Trade Officially Goes Down
The Pittsburgh Penguins officially traded their player Jake Guentzel following months of rumors.
Pittsburgh Penguins Finally Trade Superstar Jake Guentzel
In breaking news, the Penguins have finally traded Jake Guentzel to the Carolina Hurricanes.
Jake Guentzel to Carolina is officially in motion, according to Elliotte Friedman.
Hurricanes have been pushing hard with Pittsburgh on Guentzel. It would make sense that Bunting would be part of that package if Carolina can get a deal with the Penguins across the finish line.
Pierre Lebrun mentioned that Michael Bunting could be a part of the Jake Guentzel trade package. Trade Watch: Michael Bunting is in the first year of a 3-year, $13.5M contract and owns a 10-team no-trade list.
In 50 games this season, Guentzel scored 52 points, including 20 goals. He's been sidelined since mid-february with an injury.
