The Next NHL Player To Be Traded Has Been Revealed
The Vancouver Canucks have been in a difficult spot for the past couple of seasons. Some of their highly-paid players have underperformed leading to a lack of team success. Now one of those highly-paid players could be on the move.
Canucks Star Could Be The Next Player Traded
Multiple sources have confirmed that Vancouver Canucks star
Conor Garland could be on the move sooner rather than later. Today it was announced that Garland changed representation and now trade rumors have picked up.
I'm told with Conor Garland recently changing his representation, and Vancouver's willingness to retain near 30% of his salary, there's some increased potential trade partners.

Vancouver has increased their willingness to retain salary just to get Garland off the team. While Garland's production has been severely disappointing with the Canucks he still possesses a lot of value.
Since Kevin Weekes announcement a new report has suggested several teams that could have interest.
Multiple Teams In On Canucks Star
After Kevin Weekes' report, another report came in suggesting several teams' interest.
There seems to be some movement on the Conor Garland front; hearing a 3rd team could be in play. Talks w/ teams like #Preds #AllCaps #CBJ & at least 1 more Eastern team are ongoing. The #Canucks want this done sooner than later, but $$ is a big factor. How creative can they get?
With the Predators, Capitals, Blue Jackets, and potentially other teams being interested a trade is highly likely. Once the teams negotiate the salary retention a trade could come quickly.
As mentioned the money is the biggest factor but now with Vancouver willing to retain a significant portion of the contract a trade could be just days away.
