Pierre LeBrun hints at trade between the Buffalo Sabres and San Jose Sharks
As we speak, the Buffalo Sabres are out of the playoffs, but not by much.
They are 18th in the National Hockey League with a record of 25-19-3 and in recent games they have been on fire.
Because of this, the team's general manager, Kevyn Adams, seems to be in "buyer's mode". The rebuild seems to be over in his mind.
According to the reputable Pierre LeBrun, Adams recently discussed with Mike Grier, his counterpart in San Jose, a possible trade involving forward Timo Meier.
The Swiss forward will become a restricted free agent at the end of the season and would be an important asset to Buffalo's offense. In 49 games this season, he has recorded 48 points, including 28 goals.
This will obviously be a case to follow.
