Nikita Zadorov's Agent Hints at His Client's Next Destination

It has long been rumoured that Nikita Zadorov wants to be traded from Calgary, and the Leafs are in desperate need of a defenseman. With Brad Treliving's previous connection in Calgary, Leaf fans are hopeful that he is able to get something done to land Zadorov despite the heavy competition among the league for the defenseman.

Now, Zadorov's agent has posted something interesting on social media that is fueling the rumours that he will be traded to the Leafs.

The Leafs have struggled this year defensively and showed their weakness last night despite pulling out a win in the shootout. The Leafs carried a 4-1 into the second period, and yet again gave it away due to defensive errors.

Zodorov, on the other hand, had himself a game, laying a few big hits and scoring a nice goal to get the Flames back on track in the second period. If anything, Leaf fans were shown just how badly they could use a defenseman like Zodorov this year. It has also been reported that Zodorov would welcome a trade to Toronto.

With several teams likely vying for Zodorov's talents, we will see if Treliving can get something done to help the Leafs defensively.
