Massive Piece of the Erik karlsson Trade Offer has Been Revealed
There has been a major development regarding a potential trade involving Erik Karlsson.
Karlsson Finally Traded?
After months of rumors, it appears that the San Jose Sharks have found a trade partner for Erik Karlsson.
According to The Athletic, the Pittsburgh Penguins have expressed interest and are currently in talks with the Sharks to work out a deal.
Karlsson would be a fantastic addition to the Penguins. With Karlsson, Letang, Crosby, and Malkin, the Pens would undoubtedly become one of the toughest teams to play against next season.
Petry in San Jose?
As reported by Puck Empire, Jeff Petry would be included in the package to acquire Karlsson.
Petry had the best seasons of his career in Montreal. He joined the Penguins last year but only showed flashes of his past success, scoring 31 points in 61 games.
Pittsburgh wouldn't really miss him, but the Pens would certainly need to sweeten the deal by adding multiple picks and/or prospects along with the veteran defenseman.
