Major Trade Proposal Emerges: Montreal Canadiens and Calgary Flames in Talks for Potential Powerhouse Deal
The Calgary Flames and the Montreal Canadiens are involved in a blockbuster trade scenario that's currently going viral online.
Flames and Canadiens To Make Blockbuster Trade Involving Renowned Veteran Gallagher
In Montreal,
Brendan Gallagher is starting his season in an interesting way. He scored seven points in 12 games, which is already half of what he produced last year.

This brings up rumours of a potential trade, as his value is currently higher than it's been in years.
Combined with other assets, he could be a part of a major deal.
One of those deal could involve
Jonathan Huberdeau, according to a recent suggestion made by a reporter.
This is the scenario that's raises eyebrows:
Blockbuster Trade Involving Huberdeau, Gallagher and Anderson: Can It Really Happen?
The Habs would also have to send Josh Anderson in the deal. Anderson also struggles this season, scoring a mere point in 12 games.
Anderson generated a lot of interest in the trade market. As a fast, robust and dangerous player, any team would want him.
But it's likely that it won't happen. Even if Gallagher and Anderson's departures could allow the Habs to absorb Huberdeau's salary, his contract is among the worst we've seen in the salary cap era. It's propable that the Candiens won't be interested.
MTL probably says no, I love Huby, but his contract looks like one of the worst of the salary cap era right now; it seems like wishful thinking that a simple change of team would fix it.
While it would be surprising to see this trade happen, Calgary could try to dump Huberdeau somewhere else if he doesn't start getting better soon.
