Wes McCauley blew the whistle for no reason, just as the Panthers were close to score the equalizing goal to force overtime for the second game in a row.

Yesterday's game proved that the officiating model in the NHL needs to change. There's simply been to many mistakes. Frankly, it's quite embarassing that Gary Bettman doesn't do anything about it.
