The NHL has come to a decision regarding the highly controversial Pride Night jerseys. The move comes in wake of a disastrous season filled with plenty of Pride Night boycotts from both fans and players alike.
Bettman Bans Specialty Jerseys
Gary Bettman has put his foot down regarding the NHL's use of specialty jerseys during the pre-game warmups.
The ban forbids not just Pride Night jerseys, but Military, Indigenous, and Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys.
Bettman has provided no explanation behind the banning of these jerseys, and while he obviously cannot please everyone, this move seems like it will do more harm than it will prevent.
Has Bettman officially lost it?
