With the New York Rangers' victory, the Winnipeg Jets received a very nice confirmation.
In the trade that sent Andrew Copp to New York, Winnipeg received a conditional second round pick.
If the Rangers made it to the conference finals and the forward played 50% of the team's games, the second round pick would become a first round pick.
So that's settled! The Rangers' first round pick is transferred to the Jets.
