Wife of Borje Salming Gives a Devastating Update
Borje Salming's battle with ALS has been heartbreaking to watch. The Toronto folk hero was an inspiration for many, and unfortunately, our time with him is likely coming to an end.
After accepting an award on his behalf, his wife Pia made a heartbreaking statement.
"We're not doing this anymore" said a very emotional Pia Salming
This quote was referring to public appearances. Unfortunately, the state of Borje's health won't allow them to travel anymore. If only we knew that this trip to Toronto was truly a farewell.
While the footage may be in Swedish, the raw emotion is felt in every language. Borje is a hero, and he will not be forgotten.
