Patrick Kane says he's still undecided about the trade possibility of being dealt he's going to take it up to the deadline but a few teams have already reached out to his agent, Pat Brisson.
One of the teams Kane is referring to is surprisingly the Dallas Stars. It's hard to imagine Kane heading to his divisional rival to chase a cup, but it makes sense based on the assets the Stars have, and the needs they're trying to fill.
The Stars would likely be looking to upgrade on one of Radek Faksa or Mason Marchment with Kane. It's safe to say this would be a dynamic change.
With tons of prospects in their system, a guy like Logan Stankoven could head back to Chicago. Another interesting piece for them would be Mavrik Bourque, who shares an incredibly similar mould to captain Jonathan Toews.
This is Dallas' year to go all-in, with Wyatt Johnston still on his ELC, and the cap flexibility available in the last year of Roope Hintz's contract. The question is, is Jim Nill ready to go for it?
