A tipster on Twitter reported the reason why Kirby Dach has not yet signed with the Habs.
According to Patrick Lortie, Kent Hughes is waiting to place Paul Byron on the long-term injured list, which would give him a little more room on the payroll.
The deal would probably be completed by now, but the Canadiens is still waiting.
To be continued.
