We never like to see a player lying on the ice in pain. That's what happened to Trevor Zegras a few days ago when he was hit solidly in the center of the ice.
There has been a lot of commentary on this body check, especially in terms of the legality and the timing. Many said it was a shame to see this kind of hit in a pre-game, while others said to keep their heads up.
Regardless of opinions, it seems like there is more fear than harm for the young Zegras, as the Ducks have confirmed that he will be back any day now.
