The Colorado Avalanche will need to be smart if they want to win their second consecutive Stanley Cup. An NHL Insider has now revealed who they will be looking at on the trade market.
They desperately need centre depth after losing Nazem Kadri to free agency, which makes it make sense that three of the four players mentioned are centres.

These are all great adds to a Colorado team that already has playoff pedigree. Of course, O'Reilly is a Conn Smythe winner, and Toews captained three teams to a Stanley Cup, but both Henrique and Monahan have been praised for their leadership presence in their careers.
This Avalanche team knows what it takes to go all the way, they just need the pieces to get them there. They may not be the best team in the league, but they're assuredly the one with the most fight.
