The Chicago Blackhawks are aiming to rebuild the team and have been rejuvenated tremendously in recent weeks.

However, they still need to surround these young athletes with good veterans.

Yesterday, they agreed to terms on a one-season contract with Stanley Cup winning defenseman Jack Johnson.

The deal will pay him $950,000.

Last season in Colorado, the 35-year-old had nine points in 74 games.
