According to Rutherford, the 3 team that are making a push for Tarasenko are: the Hurricanes, the Rangers and the Islanders.
Here is what he had to say:
"I think Carolina, even after the big signings in the last few days including Andrei Svechnikov, are still very much on the lookout for Tarasenko. They need help on the power play and need goal scorers."
Lou confirmed 5 contracts for the Islanders the last few days. I am not sure how that will work. Tarasenko isn't a cheap contract.
