Montreal Canadiens forward Juraj Slafkovsky was unable to finish the game against the New York Rangers on Sunday.

The worst has just been confirmed, as reported by Eric Engels of Sportsnet.

« The Canadiens announced that it is a lower body injury for Juraj Slafkovsky. No idea yet how long he will be out. He will be evaluated in Montreal. Expensive trip for the CH, with Jake Evans injured Saturday as well." - Eric Engels, Sportsnet

The 18-year-old Slafkovsky has 10 points, including four goals, in 39 games this season with the Montreal Canadiens.
