According to Stéphane Leroux on 98.5 FM, Seattle Kraken forward Shane Wright will soon be loaned to Team Canada for the World Championship this holiday season.
Leroux also stated that the Canadiens should have between six and seven prospects in this popular tournament.
After two weeks of conditioning in the AHL, Wright made his return to the National Hockey League yesterday, scoring his first career NHL goal against the Montreal Canadiens.
In eight games this season with Seattle, the 18-year-old has two points.
