The Columbus Blue Jackets make a big splash

The Columbus Blue Jackets have agreed to terms on a three-season contract with young defenceman Adam Boqvist.
The 21-year-old Swede had 22 points in 52 games last season.
The former eighth overall pick of the Chicago Blackhawks in 2018 is far from finished with his development and this deal could quickly become a bargain.
Boqvist was acquired by the Blue Jackets in the trade that sent Seth Jones to Chicago.
The future contract of Alexander Romanov, who is a restricted free agent, could be similar or less.
