The Colorado Avalanche Plan to Get Revenge on an Opposing Star Player Tonight
The Colorado Avalanche are quite literally a skeleton of the team they are supposed to be. Their injury list includes:
- Gabriel Landeskog
- Nathan Mackinnon
- Josh Manson
- Bowen Byram
- Shane Bowers
- Darren Helm
- Kurtis MacDermid
- Evans Rodrigues
- Arturri Lehkonen
Lehkonen's injury in particular is tough. He was sidelined following a scary play from Charlie MacAvoy.
Adrian Dater was candid about how the Avalanche needed to address the situation upon an incoming rematch with the Bruins.
Avs need to respond to McAvoy on Wednesday night," he wrote on Twitter. "Whether it's dirty like this or not, they need to respond. A top player was injured by this after-the-whistle play and they need to let him know it wasn't forgotten.
Head coach Jared Bednar was furious after the injury occurred.
It is thus not a reach to expect that the team will be out for blood tonight.
