Many believe that Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price will not be back in the lineup this year, barring a miracle, of course.
Can he help the team otherwise? Obviously, being on the injured list, he can't have an official position with the team, but his experience could certainly help the team's goalies, especially Samuel Montembeault and Cayden Primeau.
Angela Price, Carey's wife, announced in recent weeks on her Instagram account that the family would be spending the season in Montreal. Will Carey sit at home and do nothing? That would be surprising, as Andrew Zadarnowski of TSN 690 and BPM Sports points out.
The columnist even wonders if Price could replace Sean Burke and literally become director of goaltending, like Sean Burke did, live from Arizona. Imagine that!
It'll be interesting to follow, although we probably won't have an official answer, due to his current status as a long-term injured player.
