Yesterday, the Canadiens gave fans a bit of a scare by trading defenseman Arber Xhekaj to the Laval Rocket.
It was only an administrative measure, in order to place Paul Byron's name on the long-term injury list. Now it has been confirmed by the team.
This means that Xhekaj will start the season in Montreal, while poor Paul Byron may never touch an NHL ice again.
To be continued in the case of Byron...
