The Arizona Coyotes are currently 29th in the NHL with 31 points in 42 games. The Coyotes may be willing to part with some players at the trade deadline to get closer to Connor Bedard.
Sportsnet tipster Jeff Marek reports that the Coyotes would be willing to trade their number one goalie, Karel Vejmelka.
"If the deal is right, it appears the Arizona Coyotes would part ways with goalie Karel Vejmelka. He's having a wonderful season, on a two-year contract and at just $2.7 million. It would be a great deal for the teams." - Jeff Marek
Vejmelka has a 3.38 goals-against average and .902 efficiency in 31 games this season.
Perhaps Kent Hughes could take a chance on acquiring this goalie who would take up little payroll space.
