Shea Weber is expected to rejoin his teammates in Montreal on Saturday for the first time since November 2021, according to reports.
Weber will be in town for the players' annual exit physicals, according to Luc Gelinas of 91.9 Sports Radio, and will join his teammates for a season evaluation with GM Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton.
Despite not being formally retired, Weber has received a lot of flak recently for his invisibility this season. Some speculate that a retirement announcement will be made this weekend following the checkup, but no official word has been given.
I think it's time for the Canadiens to part ways with Shea Weber and start a new fresh beginning. Do you agree?
