Several players have agreed to terms on a professional tryout contract with NHL teams as training camps approach.
They are Christopher Gibson in Arizona, Thomas Hickey in New Jersey, Daniel Sprong in Seattle and former Canadiens Nate Thompson in Los Angeles.
Gibson, 29, has a 4-5-3 record with a 3.33 GAA and a .901 SV% in his NHL career.
Hickey was drafted fourth overall in 2007 and has 117 points (22 goals) in 456 career NHL games.
Sprong is 25 years old and has 70 points (46 goals) in 202 career NHL games.
Thompson has 164 points in 844 career NHL games.
