Recently, Edmonton Oilers forward Jesse Puljujarvi has been linked to a number of trade rumours, including one with the Montreal Canadiens.
In 65 games last year, he had 36 points, including 14 goals. Drafted fourth overall in 2016, the forward is struggling this season with only eight points, including two goals in 36 games.
According to tipster David Pagnotta, the Oilers are reportedly asking for a third- or fourth-tier player in return for Puljujarvi.
Names like Armia, Dadonov, Hoffman or Drouin come to mind. It would be huge if Kent Hughes was able to trade one of these players who hardly produces for a young player like Puljujarvi, who could develop well under Martin St-Louis.
