According to what reputable David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period reports, defenseman Kris Letang and the Pittsburgh Penguins are reportedly close to a deal.
We're reportedly talking about a contract between $7-8M per year.
However, Pagnotta has no information on the number of years of the agreement. At 35 years old, it would be quite surprising if he signs for more than three seasons.
Last season in 78 games, Letang had an outstanding campaign with 68 points.
