Report: John Tortorella closing in on head coaching job

According to a report by NHL insider Frank Seravalli, it appears that veteran head coach John Tortorella is in the running for the vacant position in Philadelphia.

Here's what Seravalli had to say:

The finalists are believed to include Barry Trotz and John Tortorella, two benches bosses with nearly 3,500 NHL games of experience between them, each with a Stanley Cup on their resume.
