Usually, it's easy to tell if Carey Price is having a good day or not, just by seeing his first saves on the ice. It seems that this Sunday morning, the CH net minder was in his element when his teammates, as Arpon Basu put it, collectively applauded every time someone managed to beat him. There was very little cheering this Sunday, but it was loud when it happened.

After training, during his media meeting, Price said he was fresh and available. He mentions that his month of rest (he has not played since his contact with Alex Chiasson on April 19) will have been beneficial to him. It even compares to the summer tournament last summer when he had to return to net after several months of inactivity. He had good stats then, with a 1.78 goals-against average and .936 save rate in 10 games in the Toronto bubble.
«It's a tough schedule for everyone involved this year. I'm feeling great now, obviously I was able to take care of myself. Mentally resting has been good for me. "- Carey Price The goalie said the next series will be exciting as there is a lot of history between the two teams and the Leafs will be a challenge for the CH.
«The rivalry is not like with Boston. In my time, in Montreal, we faced so much Boston in the playoffs. But it's definitely going to be exciting »- Carey Price Finally, he was kind enough to talk about his young teammate, Cayden Primeau. It is certain that the young goalkeeper will know how to come out strong from these bad games since he has all the tools to do so.
«It's not an easy league, especially with the period in which he was recalled. He has a solid head on his shoulders, it will be fine (...) his positioning is excellent, he has a good hockey head, he has a large build, and he uses it well "- Carey Price
