Ottawa Senators GM Pierre Dorion has repeatedly stated that his team is no longer in a rebuilding mode. He is actively seeking to improve his team and is willing to pay the price.

Yesterday, he sent out five scouts, to scout the Habs, but also the San Jose Sharks.

The Senators are here a lot. Three weeks ago, general manager Pierre Dorion was in the amphitheatre. He also went to see the Canadiens in Winnipeg. Are the Senators watching what's going on here? Probably and surely," he said.

- Renaud Lavoie, via TVA Sports

Dorion seems to be giving Karlsson the eye again:

"Karlsson and Ottawa, it's a story that's not over even if he's in San Jose," Renaud Lavoie said.

"The Ottawa Senators sent five important people to the Bell Centre to watch the Habs-Sharks duel.

I thought they already knew Erik Karlsson, but what do I know? Maybe they're not there to see him at all" (but to see the CH players)

Will we see a trade between the Habs and Senators soon? Stay tuned.
