Red Wings Forward Gets Multi-Game Suspension After Dirty Play On a Veteran
Detroit Red Wings forward Michael Rasmussen has been suspended for two games after high sticking Boston Bruins forward David Krecji.
The play was clearly intended to injure, and Krecji is now sidelined for an undetermined amount of time.

This game was full of dangerous plays, including an elbow to Rasmussen's teammate Joe Veleno minutes prior to his high-stick.
Clearly these two teams are becoming bigger rivals this season, as Detroit looks to make the playoffs in a tough Atlantic division.
