Connor Bedard had one of the most dominant world junior tournaments of all time. If hype around him wasn't already high, it definitely is now.

NHL Insider Pierre LeBrun dropped a bomb this morning that could change the entire outlook of the NHL this season.

He insists that teams will actively tank for Bedard, which is something we haven't seen since the Connor McDavid sweepstakes in 2015.

NHL teams know not to overreact to the world juniors. But what Connor Bedard is doing is something else.

``At this age, best prospect since Crosby,'' said one NHL team exec with a scouting background.

Which is to say, he's worth tanking for.

Of course, the closer to the bottom of the NHL you get, the better your odds are to draft Connor Bedard. Many teams will rightfully be all-in on this franchise-altering draft.
