Patrick Kane Shows His Respect For Alex Ovechkin After His 800th Goal
While they may be on different teams, the bond between Patrick Kane and Alexander Ovechkin is a close one.
They are both in the conversation of the best player to come from their respective countries, they are both first overall picks, and they are both some of the best snipers in league history.
Yesterday, against Kane's Chicago Blackhawks, Ovechkin scored his 800th career goal.
While we can all imagine that Kane aspires to be hitting the numbers that Ovechkin is, he didn't cease to show his respect for The Great 8.
Blackhawks fans equally cheered for Ovi. While there may be rivalries in the league, before anybody is a fan of a team, they're the fan of a sport.
It will be incredible to watch as Ovechkin edges closer to Wayne Gretzky's unbeatable' record.
