Patrick Kane Rejects Possibility of Joining Specific Team
It seemed like fate that Patrick Kane would end up a member of the New York Rangers. Unfortunately, the Rangers had other plans, acquiring Vladimir Tarasenko from the St. Louis Blues.
Now the Maple Leafs and Oilers appear as front runners for Kane, while some other teams have equally gotten themselves into the conversation.
Kane holds a lot of choice when it comes to a trade, as he has a full no-movement clause.
Per Stefan Rosner, it appears there is only one team he will block a deal to, and this is the New York Islanders.
This makes sense, as Kane was a Rangers fan growing up, and the Islanders are their arch rivals.
We will see where Kane ultimately ends up, but it assuredly won't be on Long Island.
