Norris has 31 goals and 15 assists for 46 points in just 55 regular season games for the Ottawa Senators.

The Senators have a lot riding on Norris' success. He was part of the trade that sent former star defenseman Erik Karlsson to the San Jose Sharks. Despite the Senators not being a playoff club this season, Norris has continued his great play in April, scoring 6 goals since the month began.
On Sunday, the Ottawa Senators mentioned their rivals, the Toronto Maple Leafs, in this way. According to their official Twitter account, they stated:
With his sixth goal this month, [Senators] Josh Norris joins Auston Matthews as the only two league skaters to reach the mark since April 1.
