In the minds of many Canadiens fans and hockey fans in general, Carey Price's career is over. The number 31 admitted that he has trouble going up and down stairs and that it has a big impact on his family life.
According to Sportsnet journalist Eric Engels, Carey will definitely need a risky operation:
Eric Engels on Tim & Friends talks about Price: "In order for him to play again, he would have to undergo a fairly risky knee procedure to make it work. The success rate is not significantly high and it's never really been done on a player playing his position at this level."
- NHL Watcher
This means that Price has an important decision to make for the rest of his career, but more importantly, for the rest of his life. This surgery could mortgage him, but without it, it doesn't look much better either.
