Journalist James Nichols, who covers the New York Islanders for The Fourth Period, has revealed a new piece of information in the Josh Anderson file with the Long Island outfit.
« I don't see that, I know the Habs have interest (in Anthony Beauvillier), but they really like him (Anderson) with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield. »
So we're not talking about the 13th overall pick, but Nichols still says that Kent Hughes is interested in Anthony Beauvillier.
So, either Hughes is trying to raise Josh Anderson's value or he's really closed the door on negotiations and that it's dead on for a Lou Lamoriello deal.
This will obviously be an issue to follow between now and the draft.
