According to what Kevin Kurz of The Athletic reports, the New York Islanders are interested in acquiring centre Nazem Kadri via the free agent market.
The team's general manager, Lou Lamoriello, has not signed a single player, since the market opened on July 13.
The New York team has $11 million available on the payroll.
With the season he had, 28 goals and 59 assists for a total of 87 points in 71 games, Kadri will certainly get a very good salary increase.
To be continued.
