KHL president Alexei Morozov revealed in an interview with the KHL Talk page that he is now in talks with the NHL to play two exhibition games in Russia this September.
The Washington Capitals would face the Moscow Dynamo and the Tampa Bay Lightning would face CSKA Moscow in the games, which would play two of the NHL's best teams against two of the KHL's best clubs.
Both NHL teams were obviously chosen because of their Russian superstar players, Alex Ovechkin for the Capitals and Nikita Kucherov for the Lightning.
