Upfront, they have a great young core that has skill and talent that can bring them back to the big dance, regardless of that veteran presence they may be lacking. In addition they have made some nice nice moves bringing in Mike Hoffman, and to a lesser extent Matthieu Perrault. On the back end, they are equipped with very responsible defencemen that can take care of their own end and contribute in timely circumstances like we've became accustom to seeing this past Stanley Cup Final run. Unfortunately having
Shea Weber out with injuries is still a huge lose for the back end and hopefully he'll be returning sooner rather than later. For that reason, I have left him out of the defensive lineup.
