Matthew Barzal hits the jackpot with the Islanders

The New York Islanders have agreed to terms on an eight-season contract extension with star forward Matthew Barzal.

The deal will pay him an average of $9.15 million per year.

Last season in 73 games, Barzal recorded 59 points.
