Not going to lie this looks really bad on the Habs drafting crew.
1st round Picks since Bergevin:
2012 - Galchenyuk - Traded
2013 - McCarron - Traded
2014 - Scherbak - Waivers
2015 - Juulsen - Waivers
2016 - Sergachev - Traded
2017 - Poehling - Habs
2018 - KK - gone
2019, 2020, 2021 All still with the Habs
They have missed out on great talents since 2012.
For example,
In 2012, they missed out on Morgan Rielly and Filip Forsberg.
In 2013, they missed out on Shea Theodore.
In 2014, Christian Dvorak was picked 58th overall by Arizona.
In 2015, you won't believe it! Sebastian Aho was picked in the second round!
In 2016,
And so on.
