Maple Leafs Considering Major Defensive Acquisition
The Toronto Maple Leafs are in a complicated situation right now. Jake Muzzin is injured, and the rest of their defensive corps hasn't been performing well enough. Their best defender, Morgan Rielly has struggled through their four games this season.
Fans are calling for changes, and Leafs broadcaster Nick Kypreos believes that Arizona's Jakob Chychrun is the solution for the Maple Leafs.
Chychrun has been Arizona's number-one defender for years and has put up positive analytics on a terrible team. He could very well be the type of responsible piece to put the Leafs over the first-round hump.
This will be an interesting story to follow.
