The Montreal Canadiens' young defenseman, Logan Mailloux, was traded to the London Knights yesterday.
If it wasn't for his famous shoulder injury, TVA Sports journalist Renaud Lavoie is certain that he could have started in Montreal.
« It's a shame because Logan Mailloux was not able to play any pre-season games because of his shoulder injury. In my opinion, if he had started training camp at the same time as everyone else, he would have been in the lineup last night »
Lavoie also revealed why Mailloux has stayed with the team for so long.
« He's a guy who is crazy talented and it shows in practice. He is also loved by his teammates. That's why management decided to keep him for so long. »
We can now understand why Kent Hughes gave a contract to his young defenseman.
