MAJOR: Ron Maclean to be fired from Hockey Night in Canada
Rumors about the dismissal of the legendary Ron MacLean, former partner of Don Cherry and current sportscaster for Hockey Night in Canada, have been circulating since 2019 when Cherry was fired. Many believed he would follow suit, but in the end, he stayed.
Now, there has been a major development confirming that nobody is safe at the station, except for one person.
Only One is Safe
According to Howard Berger, Hockey Night in Canada as we know it might be over.
Berger added on Twitter that the renowned insider Elliotte Friedman is the only safe member of the team.
This is major news, but it's not surprising. Friedman is extremely valuable to their team.
As for MacLean, he's getting old, and his firing could be a good thing if they replace him with someone good.
HNiC will probably be different next season, and we can't wait to see if it lives up to the legendary status of the classic broadcast.
