Lightning Fan Assaults Panthers Mascot
We all know how passionate hockey fans can be. This just goes to the next level when it concerns a rivalry.
As both teams have become better, the Battle of Florida has become incredible to watch. The stands are always full, and the energy is insane.
Unfortunately, one Lightning fan took it too far last game. When Panthers mascot Viktor E. Rat was assaulted by a fan, it was bound to go viral. You can watch the video here:
Losing the game 7-1, the Lightning fan was clearly very angry. This behavior, however, is deplorable.
The incident is now being investigated, and we will see if charges are pressed.
