With injuries to Valeri Nichushkin, Gabriel Landeskog and Darren Helm on the offensive end, the Colorado Avalanche will certainly need some help to turn things around as they sit 20th in the NHL.
According to Pierre LeBrun, Canadiens forward Sean Monahan is a target for the most recent Stanley Cup winners.
Jonathan Toews and Ryan O'Reilly, both Stanley Cup winners, are also reportedly of interest to the Avalanche.
Monahan, 28, is earning $6.375 million through the end of the season. He has seven points in 14 games this season.
